SANTA FE ART EXPERIENCE
THE PROBLEM
For being the third largest art capital in the United States, Santa Fe, with over 250 galleries, had no guide, map, website or mobile app showcased ALL the galleries and museums in town.
THE OPPORTUNITY
What started as a concept as a mobile app for Canyon Road, grew to a digital community that would define all the existing and emerging arts districts in the City Different.
THE SOLUTION
Starting with an iOS mobile and partnering with the growing museum app technology platform Gretel, we did the heavy lifting of creating the inventory of all the galleries and museums in town, offering them a free listing, which democratized their searchability. After successfully launching the app, complete with an ad platform, we then launched the companion website, which became a hub for interacting with the SFAE community. Allowing galleries to post their own events, workshops and openings, it also created more ad placements for local restaurants, hotels, bars and more.
THE BRAND
What do we call this app, this experience? Santa Fe is a destination with many experiences. To transcend beyond a mere guide or map, we made a promise to art lovers that this experience would be simple, informative, useful and relevant to locals and tourists alike. I designed a distinct mark that captured the dimensionality of the opportunity. The digital ecosystem has now expanding into social, a newsletter and community outreach with like-minded organizations. Trademark is pending.

We provide a marketing engine for local business who want to connect with art lovers as they research and visit all the arts districts in town.
